ABOUT RAHUL NIKAM

With over 5 years of industrial experience in catalysis and synthetic chemistry, I specialize in developing and scaling catalytic processes for olefin polymerization and related chemical manufacturing. I bring extensive hands-on expertise in designing and optimizing novel catalytic systems, contributing to the efficient production of key polyolefins such as 1-hexene and 1-octene. My experience spans multi-step organic synthesis, precise functional group transformations, and seamless scale-up from laboratory to commercial production. I have been actively involved in end-to-end product development, including:1. Lab-scale optimization 2. Pilot plant trials 3. Process scale-up and commercialization 4. Product characterization and troubleshooting Notably, I supported the successful commercialization of 1-hexene technology in a plant with an 18 KTA capacity, delivering impactful process improvements and operational efficiency. In addition, I have:1. Designed and developed multiple catalysts and ligands for chemical transformations 2.
