Responsibilities:1.Laboratory Operations Management:•Oversee and manage all aspects of the laboratory operations, including sample processing, testing, and result reporting.•Develop and implement laboratory protocols, procedures, and workflows to ensure efficient and accurate testing processes.2.Quality Assurance and Compliance:•Develop and enforce quality control measures and SOPs to maintain accuracy, precision, and reliability of test results.•Coordinate proficiency testing programs and participate in external quality assessment programs to monitor laboratory performance.3.Staff Management and Development:•Lead and manage a team of laboratory professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.•Provide technical and scientific guidance to laboratory staff, ensuring adherence to laboratory protocols and best practices.•Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning among laboratory staff.•Conduct regular meetings, trainings, and performance feedback sessions to enhance staff competencies and professional growth.4.Equipment and Inventory Management:•Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.•Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment servicing, repairs, and calibrations.5.Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:•Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, researchers, and clients, to understand their testing needs and deliver exceptional customer service.•Participate in meetings, conferences, and presentations to represent the laboratory and share scientific knowledge and expertise.
