About Prantik Basak
Hi, I am Prantik Basak. I got my bachelors degree in Political Science from Scottish Church college, Kolkata (2017) and was one of the top five scorers from the department. Thereafter, I completed my masters degree in Political Science from University of Calcutta (2019) with a specialization in Contemporary India, ranking amongst the top 5 scorer from the department once again. I am a Ph.D. research scholar in Political Science from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, focusing on student protests and politics in India. I have worked as a Guest Lecturer in Political Science, Department of Political Science, Rabindra Bharati University from January 2022 to September 2023 (1.8 years). Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor of Political Science, Faculty of Law, Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat.I cleared NET (LS) in Political Science in December, 2019. I have also completed the Don Lavoie Fellowship in the spring of 2021 from the prestigious Mercatus Centre of George Mason University, USA. I have a total of 5 chapters published in ISBN books, co-edited one book, and along with that 8 blind peer reviewed ISSN journal publications, of which one is indexed in Scopus. Beside these, I have four online research articles published during my tenure as a research intern under Kootneeti.My aim is to establish myself as an academician and a professor in the field of political science.Here\'s my ResearchGate profile:
