As the Global Medical Affairs Lead I am a subject matter expert focused on the company drug and competitor molecules, specializing in scientific information and communication strategy. My responsibilities include leading internal and cross-functional compound and competitor training, as well as shaping the global Medical Affairs external engagement and communication strategy. I build out internal and external data repositories and integrate extensive disease area and competitor knowledge with strategic insights and corporate priorities.Over a decade of experience in academic and professional clinical research has allowed me to establish and manage thought leader networks in various countries and develop healthcare professional mapping and scoring systems. I am well-versed in comprehensive assessments of disease areas, treatments, studies, and competitor landscapes. I actively supported national regulatory discussions across Europe post-approval and a US drug launch in a rare disease in hematology / oncology.I have taken a lead role in ex-US investigator and company-sponsored trial support engagement from concept through feasibility and activation to completion, and had oversight and responsibility for Medical Affairs attendance and reporting of numerous national and international congresses. Additionally, I have mentored and directed project teams in my areas of expertise, successfully transferring responsibilities to new junior leads with continued mentorship and support.Further contributions as a leader include creating a comprehensive engagement strategy spanning from pre- to post-approval stages, utilizing valuable field insights and addressing advisory needs.
