ABOUT PAYAL CHAMATKAR PATNAIK
I am a highly accomplished individual with extensive knowledge and experience in social work, particularly in urban, rural, and tribal community development. I obtained my BSW, MSW, and MPhil in Social Work from RTM Nagpur University. My research is mainly focused on the participation, empowerment, and problems faced by women in Gram Panchayats, particularly in Eastern VIDHARBHA. At present I am the Director of MSW at the postgraduate department of social work at RTM Nagpur University and has been serving as a guest faculty at the Matru Sewa Sangh Institute of Social Work in Nagpur since 2012. Actively involved in numerous projects and organizations. I was a key investigator in the project on the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health and well-being of women from the rural sector of Maharashtra and Amravati District. I am also the Advisory Board Member Social Science and Management Welfare Association Women Cell Jabalpur M.P. India. Received legal documents to be a professional counsellor from the Health and Family Welfare Training Center at Aundh Camp Pune. Advisory Member of Nittal College Nagpur, a City Coordinator of the Nagpur ChildLine’s Nodal Organisation, and a coordinator of Vidarbha Nature Conservation Society Nagpur. Associated with various GOs and NGOs at national and international levels. Served as an External Evaluator for five different projects under the MAVIM program in yavatmal District, a ground-breaking initiative undertaken by the Government of Maharashtra. Published more than 25 research papers, 9 of which were published internationally, and she author two books – Women\'s Participation and Empowerment in Gram Panchayat and Indian Society. Received The Best Woman Social Work Award 2024 at the Two Days International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research in Women Empowerment 2024 on the occasion of INTERNATIONAL WOMEN DAY 2024. She received an INTERNATIONAL award for YOGA and DANCE EVENT held at Gayatri Shaktipeeth Nagpur in 2024. Received the Lifetime Achievement Award and FELLOW MEMBER of EUDOXIA RESEARCH UNIVERSITY NEW CASTLE, USA (2023) and INTERNATIONAL RESEARCHER ID CARD ERC/IIP/10.0 awarded by Eudoxia Research University New Castle-USA and Eudoxia Research Centre-India. GLOBAL EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDs in 20••••24, among other accolades. In 2017-18, received the Sri. Manorama Bhave and Sri. Indira Bhave memorial award to honour her excellent practical experience in Academics and as a City Coordinator in Nagpur CHILDLINE (Field action project).
