While my wife was breast feeding and pumping, we stumbled upon a challenge-visualization of milk flow. This led to the development of a novel solution to what many breast pumping moms have also had a problem with. Instead of relying on overhead or full room lighting, or using a spare hand to hold the LED light up to the breast shield, Lactalite simply clips onto the breast pump shield-illuminating the area. This leads to a less stressful pumping experience. Lactalites allow lactation consultants to help moms ensure proper nipple placement within the flange and also for proper sizing of flanges.We are looking to partner with lactation consultants, DMEs, breast pump companies, and other leaders in this field.
