ABOUT PANKAJ KUMAR VERMA
Dr Pankaj Kumar Verma is an Assistant Professor of English at School of Social Sciences and Languages, VIT Vellore. He completed BA (Hons) in English and MA in English from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He obtained his PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati. His doctoral thesis explores the ecoaesthetical dimension of Vālmīki-Rāmāyaṇa. He has published his research articles in reputed journals indexed in Scopus, WoS, and UGC Care. He has also presented his research papers in prestigious institutions like Harvard Divinity School, USA, and London Centre for Multidisciplinary Research. His areas of interest are Environment Humanities, Indological Studies, Classical Writing, Mythological Studies and Film Studies. His teaching interest revolves around English Literature, American Literature, Indian Literature in English, Literary Theories, Professional and Business Communications, Critical Readings and Writings. He has been holding position of Assistant Professor since August 2022.
