ABOUT PAMELA J. BOIVIN

Dr. Pamela J. Boivin, J.D, PhD, ABD, MHRT/C- Pamela currently works with individuals diagnosed with mental health and/or substance abuse issues accompanied with a legal component; as the Director of Legal and Forensics with ABHS. Dr. Boivin is also the Director of Riverside Training & Education Center and trains professionals in the field of mental health, teaching courses in:* Behavioral, Psychologic & Rehabilitation Intervention Models.* Community Inclusion & Integration* Ethics & Professional Conduct* Trauma & Resiliency* Policy Knowledge * Mind & Body Connection * Vocational Rehabilitation * Cultural Competency Dr. Boivin also serves as a Professor at Kennebec Community College teaching courses in Forensic Psychology, Sociology, Abnormal Psychology & other humanities. Dr. Boivin has consulted and trained the Maine State Police Hostage Negotations and Tactical Team and has also served as a Professor at University of Maine with the Justice Studies Department and with the Behavioral/Human Services Department. Dr. Boivin was an officer in the United States Army; STARC Medical. She has an extensive academic and professional legal background, with a concentration in domestic violence and has been certified as an expert witness in domestic violence by the Texas School of Law. Academics include: Assoc. Criminal Justice, B.A. Interdisciplinary Studies, Juris Doctor in Law, Studies in Divinity/Seminary, and a professional PhD, ABD in Public Safety/Criminal Justice.
