ABOUT OLIVER APEL

With over 20 years of work experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) labels industry, I am leveraging my skills in process improvement and new business development to create value for companies in all industries. Previously, I was the COO EMEAA CPG at Multi-Color Corporation, the global leader in label solutions, where I habe been responsible for the complete P&L across 4 continents, more than 20 production sites and and more than employees. I oversaw the operations, strategy, and growth of the CPG segment in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Brazil. I was focusing on continuous improvement to realize higher efficiencies, developed the global sales strategy and worked on strategic acqusitions, from target identification over to due dilligence, negotiations and integration into the existing group. Before taking over the full operational and P&L responsibility, was the CFO of the division (when it was still part of Constantia Flexibles, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging and labels), where I managed the financial performance, reporting, and compliance of the label division. I was a core member in the sale process of the division, working closely with investment banks and various PE investors. I have a strong background in finance, strategy, and management, as well as a domain expertise in CPG labels. I am passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable label solutions that meet the needs and expectations of customers, consumers, and stakeholders. I am driven by the mission of creating value and impact for the CPG industry and the society at large. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked in different roles, regions, and organizations throughout my career.
