About Neha Baranwal

Currently, I am working as a senior data scientist in ABS IT services. before that i worked with kaliber labs as a senior data scientist and i am ex researcher at LIRMM, Montpellier University, Montpellier, France. Here I am associated with seatizen project. The aim of the project is to identify sea species their condition using deep learning. At the same time, I am also associated with UPgrad as a thesis supervisor where I am guiding master students into their project related to AI and machine learning. I am ex data scientist of Brane Enterprises private limited, Hyderabad, India. My job is to understand client requirement and design AI solutions (BERT based model) for them. Before that, I worked with Intelligent Robotics group as a Post-Doctorate Researcher in Department of Computing Science, Umeå University, Umeå, Swedan from November 2017 to January 2020. I worked on two projects visual language grounding for HRI and human robot teaming. Before that, I have worked as an Associate Technology Manager (Data Scientist) in eClerx, Mumbai, India from April 2016 to August 2017. I worked on negative news analysis, email classification, information extraction. I was the Ph.D. student of Allahabad, India. My Ph.D. thesis is on multimodal human robot interaction where I used gesture and speech as a mode of interaction.
