As a passionate and dedicated healthcare professional with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree, I have always aspired to a career centered around patient care, where I can apply my extensive skills and knowledge. My current role as a Pharmacy Manager at a community pharmacy has provided me with invaluable experiences and growth opportunities. In my position, I excel in- Utilizing ProScript for seamless pharmacy operations- Efficient case processing and accurate medication dispensing- Leading and managing a dynamic pharmacy team- Coordinating and overseeing deliveries- Managing the ordering and procurement of medications- Problem-solving and addressing daily operational challenges- Providing essential services such as blood pressure monitoring (both normal and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring), new medication services, and Pharmacy First services etc, including their claims processing. This role has enabled me to interact with a diverse patient population, gaining insights into various medical conditions and translating my learning into practical, impactful actions. In addition to my role as a Pharmacy Manager, I bring a year of experience as a Drug Safety Support Specialist. In this capacity, I have developed a deep understanding of- Case processing within the ArisG database, handling serious, non-serious, literature, health authority, legal, spontaneous, and clinical study cases across different countries- Mentoring and guiding a team of associates- Writing detailed and accurate medical narratives- Coding with MedDRA and WHO Drug Dictionaries- Managing and resolving complex cases with precision. Working with a brilliant team has honed my skills and expanded my knowledge, reinforcing my commitment to excellence in pharmacy practice. I am dedicated to continuous professional development and to providing the highest level of care to the community.
