About Nassar Ahmed
I am a PhD holder in Tourism and Travel Management and UGC NET,JKSET qualified, with substantial experience in both academia and the tourism industry. I currently work as a Contractual Lecturer – Tourism and Travel Management at Government Degree College Hadipora under the Academic Arrangement (since September 2025). Prior to this, I served as a Vocational Trainer – Tourism and Hospitality under the NSQF Project at DCI Multi Skills Private Limited (July 2023 – September 2025) and Indus Edutrain Pvt Limited (Nov 2016 – Nov 2017). I also gained hands-on industry experience as a Trainee at Jammu and Kashmir State Cable Car Corporation.I was honored with the Best Paper Presentation Award at the 3rd International Conference on Developmental Aspects in Tourism and Hospitality (Subharti University) and serve as a Member of the Board of Postgraduate Studies (Tourism and Travel Management) at the University of Kashmir.Additionally, I am serve as a Peer Reviewer for:South Asian Journal of Social Studies and EconomicsAsian Journal of Education and Social StudiesJournal of Scientific Research and ReportsSkilled in research, teaching, and academic development, I am proficient in Microsoft Office, SPSS, and AMOS, PLS and committed to delivering quality education while advancing tourism research.
