ABOUT NANCY KUMARI

Dr. Nancy Kumari is an Assistant Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST), Delhi-NCR, and is currently pursuing Post-Doctoral Research at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, sponsored by NSCS. She specializes in Computational Intelligence with expertise in Soft Computing, Machine Learning, Data Science, and AI-driven Health Informatics.Dr. Kumari earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from VIT Vellore (2023), M.Tech. from Galgotias University (2019), and B.Tech. from the Women’s Institute of Technology (2017). Her research focuses on intelligent decision-support systems, predictive modeling in healthcare, and interdisciplinary applications of AI.She has authored 5 SCI-indexed journal publications (including two Q1 journals), 8 international conference papers, 6 book chapters, and holds 5 Indian patents. She has served as a Principal Investigator (PI) for a University Research Seed Grant and is currently an H-Investigator in an ANRF-sponsored national research project. In 2025, she contributed as a Research Contributor to the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) – Deep Ocean Mission project, “Deep-Sea Chondrichthyans of India”, implemented through the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI), Chennai.Dr. Kumari has actively contributed to the academic community as a Session Chair and Publication Chair at international conferences and regularly serves as a peer reviewer for leading journals in AI and Data Science. She has also organized national-level hackathons and research bootcamps. She holds professional certifications including AWS Cloud Practitioner and NPTEL Machine Learning (IIT Madras) and collaborates on interdisciplinary, funded research projects in AI-enabled healthcare and intelligent systems.
