About Mrinal Kumar Sharma
With more than 23 years of experience in diverse businesses, I am a passionate, strategic leader currently driving growth and diversification at Neogen Corporation - India. As the Director of Business Development, I am responsible for driving the commercial activities of three business verticals - food safety, animal Safety and testing services in the Indian subcontinent. Being part of the leadership team that laid the foundation for the company\'s growth during the development years I have overseen the expansion of business and operations in all areas. I leverage my strong technical background, commercial experience and market knowledge to steer my team in a very promising market in the region. I have a Master\'s degree in Biochemistry from G B Pant University of Agri and Tech and have had attended a number of short term training courses on management and operations including a Management Development Program from IIM Ahmedabad and a Certificate on One Health from IIT Kharagpur. As a business leader my core competencies are strategic planning and market analysis, customer relationships, industry networking, resilience in business development, sound technical and business communication skills and team management.
