ABOUT MOZAMMIL HASNAIN
As an assistant professor at Usha Martin University (UMU) since Feb 2023, I conduct research and teach courses in the field of bioenergy, biodiesel, and biorefinery. I am passionate about finding sustainable and efficient ways to convert waste products into biofuel, and to reduce the environmental impact of fossil fuels. I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, where I worked on the optimization and characterization of biodiesel production from various feedstocks, such as microalgae, vegetable oil, and animal fat. I have multiple publications and patents in this area, and I have hands-on experience with various devices and techniques, such as UV-vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). I also have a Master of Engineering in Heat Power and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. I am open for research collaboration with other academics and industry partners who share my interest and vision in bioenergy and biodiesel. I have strong skills in biodiesel production, spectroscopy, mechanical engineering, and data analysis, and I am proficient in English and Hindi. I am always eager to learn new things and to expand my knowledge and network in this field.
