Hello, I\'m Dr. S. Mothil, a passionate and accomplished professional in the realm of Chemical Engineering. My academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Thermochemical Conversion of Biomass (Studies on Biomass Conversion into useful products), complemented by expertise in Photocatalysis, Bioprocess Engineering, and Pharmaceutical Technology. Joining Kongu Engineering College in June 2015, I\'ve dedicated over 10 years to teaching, during which I\'ve published 34 papers in international journals and 1 in national journals. My research contributions extend to numerous conferences, showcasing my commitment to advancing knowledge in the field.Securing funding for two research projects, including a substantial 1.07 Crores grant from DST, highlights my success in driving impactful research. I specialize in optimization using RSM, ANN, and Python, and I\'ve even filed a design patent for a groundbreaking Continuous High-Pressure Screw Reactor in hydrothermal conversion. I was the organizing secretary for the 19th Annual Chemical Engineering Congress SCHEMCON 2023 and First Edition of IIChE-TI Hardware Hackathon IIChE-ChEMATHON 2025.My software skills include: MS Excel, Aspen Plus, MiniTab, Design Expert, DWSim, HTRIBeyond academia, I\'ve been recognized with prestigious awards, such as the IIChE Ambuja\'s Best Student Chapter Award and Kongu Engineering College\'s Best Faculty Award. Actively engaged in professional bodies, I hold Life Memberships in The Indian Society of Technical Education and other esteemed organizations.
