I was contacted by the Chair of the Business Department to help with the curriculum development of a new Bachelor of Science in Business Management Degree at FIDM. I was so impressed with the program that I decided to teach! I teach within the Business Management Degree Program, the Department of General Studies and Professional Studies. I was full-time for seven years. Due to my consulting, training and development work, for the last seven years, I am a regular part-time instructor teaching both in class and online. I am currently teaching Studies in Leadership, Social Psychology and Writing for Business Professionals. I have previously taught Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior, Business Ethics, Issues in Contemporary Society (the capstone course for General Studies), Professional Presentation and Critical Thinking. A colleague and I wrote, designed and developed a new Associate\'s Degree class: Perspectives in Diversity. 2019 Outstanding Faculty Award2015 Outstanding Faculty Award2010 Outstanding Faculty Award

ABOUT MONICA CARBAJAL
Dr. Monica Carbajal has a Master\'s and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Psycholgy at Alliant International University. She also graduated with Honors from Western New Mexico University with a triple major in Psychology, Sociology and Human Services. Dr. Carbajal has been teaching in higher education and has been providing clients with management consulting and executive coaching for 25 years.
