About Mohammed Ibrahim Kittur
As an Associate Manager - CAE at Apollo Tyres, I lead a team of engineers in developing and implementing innovative FEA methods and techniques for tyre simulation and analysis. With over seven years of experience in FEA and material modelling, I have a proven track record of solving complex problems of failure prediction and analysis using Abaqus, Python, and other tools. My passion for applied mechanics and material science stems from my doctoral research in computational and applied mechanics of elastomeric materials at the University of Malaya, where I published my findings in high-impact journals and received multiple travel awards from ASME International Gas Turbine Institute. I have strong expertise in non-linear continuum mechanics, fatigue and fracture mechanics, and material testing. My goal is to apply my skills and knowledge to improve the FEA simulation capabilities and performance of Apollo Tyres, one of the leading tyre manufacturers in the world.
