ABOUT MOHAMMAD INTAKHAB ALAM

I am a Scientist with eighteen years of research experience in the fields of virology and the development of preclinical antiviral drugs in in-vitro and in-vivo systems. Skilled in understanding various human viral infections (e.g. Hepatitis E, HIV, Influenza, RSV, HCV, Yellow fever), its mechanism for pathogenesis and novel approach to control it. Not limited to viruses but I have also explored opportunities to investigate other new classes of drug against non-viral diseases including using of Embryonic Stem Cell, iPS-cells derived hepatocytes for drug toxicity screening and transplantation perspectives.Having qualified in pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology and medical virology, I am experienced in understanding complex pathways from Bench-to-Bedside for any form of drug or POC-diagnosis to bring. Epidemiology and viral education is my special interests outside clinical diagnosis and drug treatments. I have recently increased my unfailing attention to, vaccine, drug, diagnostics, clinical trials and regulatory compliance before introducing to meet the patient on the market. I have further advanced my expertise in human, veterinary, viral, bacterial, fungal, hormonal, gynecological autoimmune and cancer disease diagnosis by IVDs, Rapid-test (Ag & IgG/IgM)-kit including COVID-19. As a Pharma-Diagnostics Advisor, I am well networked with EU and Non-EU based companies, industries, investors and academic R&D labs for collaborative and business and commercial opportunities.
