Give Kids a Smile Leadership Ambassador @Give Kids A Smile
Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) is a nationwide program providing free dental care to pediatric and special needs patients. As three-year coordinator for Harvard School of Dental Medicine’s Give Kids a Smile program, I have worked with my colleagues to expand access to care, successfully obtain grants and provide scholarship for continuity of care, and integrate medicine and dentistry within the GKAS program and dental clinic.In 2017, I was selected as one of ten American Dental Association Give Kids a Smile Leadership Ambassadors and am now engaged as a national GKAS ambassador at the administrative level and on the field. My current task force responsibility is focused on developing standardized procedure to ensure continuity of care for the children we treat through GKAS programs nationwide.With extensive leadership training and experience, I can help you and your program develop and grow with a mission of increasing access to oral health care for the children in our communities.
