During the July 8-9, 2020, annual meeting of Sister Cities International, I was elected to the Board of Directors of Sister Cities International, an organization that pairs cities in the United States with partner cities around the world in an effort to promote global relationships, international understanding, and world peace. These City-to-City partnerships are based on culture, education, information, and trade exchanges, conferences, and events.
