The APACenter is a group of psychologists and other professionals who provide psychological and neuropsychological assessments, therapy, consultation, and coaching. We work with people of all ages - from young children to adults as well as couples and families. We use evidence-based practices, such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and feedback informed treatment (FIT) within a compassionate, client-centered approach. Regarding our assessments, unlike many practices, in almost all cases, our licensed psychologists conduct the entire assessments themselves. So, clients are getting the full expertise of our highly-trained psychologists from start to finish. Also, most of our psychologists are also licensed specialists in school psychology (LSSPs). This allows them to more effectively address learning and other school-related challenges. Our psychologists also know how to write reports that school staff can understand and use. Also, we understand special education laws and 504 services. This allows us to be strong advocates for students and families.
