About Mary Chatterjee

Dr. Mary Chatterjee is working as an Assistant Professor at UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh. She authored several research articles in high impact journals of National and International level. She also contributed chapters in books of renowned International publishers like Springer, Nova etc. She achieved Bachelor (Hon’s) degree in Microbiology and Master of Science degree in Microbiology from Calcutta University. Later she received Master of Technology degree in Biotechnology with DBT, Govt. of India scholarship. She was awarded Doctor of Philosophy from Pharmaceutical Technology department of Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She received several prestigious fellowships from Govt. of India like ICMR-JRF/SRF, CSIR-RA during her doctoral and postdoctoral studies respectively. She also obtained UGC grant for pursuing research along with teaching after joining to Biotechnology Engineering department of UIET, Panjab University.
