ABOUT MARQUITA MOSS

I am an experienced provider with 14 years of clinical nursing experience. I am dedicated to providing the best patient care experience possible through actively listening to my patients, and employing motivational interviewing techniques. I am passionate about providing exceptional holistic wellness and preventative care. I have practiced in a variety of health care settings, treating patients with a variety of illnesses and injuries. I am a team player ready to provide seamless collaborative care for patients of diversed backgrounds.I was previously employed as a PCU Travel Nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center prior to pursuing my graduate nursing degree. I worked for Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC on the Medical-Surgical/ Telemetry unit, and also served as a charge nurse during my years of employment. I graduated with my associates degree in nursing from Central Carolina Technical College. Prior to obtaining my ADN, I received my Diploma in Nursing, and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over seven years. I graduated from the illustrious HBCU Claflin University with a Bachelors and Master in Nursing degree, and completed my Doctorate degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have previously served as a community volunteer, and am a member of multiple nursing organizations, to include the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing Professionals, The American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association; South Carolina Nurses’ Association, Virginia Nurses’ Association, The National Black Nurse Practitioners Association, and many others. My ultimate goal is to open up a family medicine practice in my hometown.
