I have an extensive clinical background of working in & leading services across multiple medical areas. Working clinically across a wide range of clinical specialities, particularly in cardiac/ cardiovascular disease & stroke neuropsychology but also in medically unexplained symptoms// persistent physical symptoms management, respiratory disease, diabetes, pain management, brain injury, amputation and prosthetics, nephrology & long covid ( & chronic illness in more general terms)I am a highly experienced clinical leader and change agent (with a strong leadership background at local, regional & national levels). Coming with an extensive & proven track record of leading the development, implementation & delivery of innovative & robust clinical services, to support improvements in integrated & proactive healthcare, enabling care quality and cost-effective care improvementsI have a highly developed understanding of NHS Integrated Care System & Long-Term Condition care improvement requirements; of the challenges to be met; & extensive experience of providing clinical leadership to influence positive system changeI have an extensive background of- Service development & transformation: improving team outputs & clinical outcomes; across a variety of clinical services and clinical areas (across mental health and physical health boundaries and particularly in long term conditions)- Leading clinical strategic and business planning across organisations and clinically leading/ managing services, to successfully support evolving MDT models of working, bridging gaps in healthcare- Developing & improving clinical services and clinical pathways within organisations & across organisational boundaries (e.g, under NHS Acute Trust Psychology Services at Aintree and then at Liverpool Heart & Chest; and within the Huntercombe Group).
