ABOUT MARCUS JANSEN
I am a plant physiologist specialised in plant pathology and plant phenotyping. I am focused on utilizing non-invasive techniques for plant phenotyping. This involves using cameras and related sensors to capture parameters that reflect and describe the phenotypic traits of plants. My work lies at the intersection of plant science, engineering, and computer science.I have received my doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in Biology from RWTH Aachen in 2007 and have worked as a researcher in plant phenotyping from 2007 to 2014 at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Since 2014 I am Application Scientist at LemnaTec.
