   Dr. Mathur had a brilliant academic and extracurricular record at school & college, which won for him many scholarships and awards. He is at present in Private practice at his clinic Brij Netralaya & is a senior consultant at Swarup Eye centre and Medivision at Hyderabad with interest in glaucoma, & comprehensive ophthalmology. He is regularly attending AIOS conferences since 1990. Achievements: Dr. Mathur has to his credit several scientific presentations at state & national levels. He has convened, moderated and chaired scientific sessions at the state and national conferences. He has been a quiz master many a times at APOS conferences. • He received the First prize at Scientific Exhibition of AIOS, twice in the year’s 1996 & • He is the first recipient of E.T.Selvam award of All India Ophthalmological Society, • He was awarded the “Achievement Award” of the AP Ophthalmological Society (APOS) in 2001. • He was awarded V Raghavachar Award of APOS for best scientific paper in 2003 • He delivered Raghunandan Dundoo Endowment Lecture for Glaucoma at SD Eye Hospital in 2010 • He delivered the Malleswar Rao Oration of APOS for the year 2013• Faculty: He has conducted many hands-on workshops in glaucoma for postgraduate students in all medical colleges of AP.• Faculty of the Glaucoma Society of India (GSI). Conducted workshops in states of AP & Orissa.• He has conducted many CMEs and Skill enhancement workshops for practitioners at many places in AP.• Recognition: APOS instituted a session “Dr Manoj Mathur Plenary Session” for the Best conference Paper at all State Conferences for his landmark contribution. • Community Service: He was awarded a Citation for outstanding contribution to community ophthalmology projects of Sadhuram Eye Hospital. He was also awarded a citation for conducting free camps in urban slums by the department of urban community development-Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad.
