Brief Description: This project aims to promote PAFP, PPFP and Demand Generation through community mobilization & social marketing. The interventions such as Centralized training of service providers of Taluk Hospitals, District Hospitals and Medical Colleges, On-the-job follow-up training of the same, training of the data managers, pharmacists on HMIS & FPLMIS respectively, technical capacity building of district ASHA managers and ASHAs and engagement of District and State Health Managers/policy makers on data driven decision making. The activities revolve around system strengthening through technical capacity building of the staff.Clinical Role: Engaged in technical capacity building of the Specialist doctors, Medical officers, Staff nurses, pharmacists and other support staff on PAFP, PPFP and quality service delivery. Conducted onsite capacity building during supportive supervision visits and clinical monitoring visits.Administrative Role: Oversaw the activities in 15 Government facilities across 4 central Karnataka districts. The 15 facilities included 8 Taluk Hospitals, 3 District Hospitals and 4 Medical Colleges. Oversaw the community level interventions in 4 districts with focus on demand generation. Was line-manager of both clinical staff and community intervention personnel of EngenderHealth and was responsible for their KPIs.Achievement in this Role: Successfully completed centralized training, SOJFUT, District Health Managers meeting, District Community Managers meeting and ASHA trainings in 2 facilities within 2 months of joining the project. Successfully conducted the COVID-19 capacity building training for all the 15 facilities staff during lockdown. Got the appreciation letter for the activities conducted from all 3 districts.
