About Manikandan Murugaiah
I am a seasoned Aerospace Engineer with a rich background in the aerospace industry. My expertise spans MATLAB, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Fluid Mechanics, Multi-disciplinary Design Optimization, and Surrogate Modeling. I hold a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, specializing in Hybrid Airship Design Optimization, earned under the guidance of Prof. Rajkumar S Pant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Throughout my career, I\'ve had the privilege of advising and collaborating with various teams. During my undergraduate studies, I contributed to a team project focused on designing and developing an unmanned aerial vehicle using composite materials. Currently, I serve as an advisor for DronAid, a specialized team working on medical applications and intelligent UAV systems. My contributions extend to the research field, with numerous research articles published in renowned international journals and conferences, primarily focusing on hybrid airship conceptual design and optimization.
