ABOUT LOUISE READER
With over five years of experience as a Deputy Head of Subject at University of Northampton, I have led, designed, and launched a new degree programme that integrates applied learning modules, work experiences and innovative course design. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Chartered Management Institute, reflecting my dedication to professional development and excellence in teaching and learning. My goal is to create inclusive and engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learner needs and prepare them for the changing world of work.I also have a proven track record of providing consultancy services to SMEs and leading the ICRS Northamptonshire Hub, where I coordinate local and regional activities on corporate responsibility and sustainability. As a Senior Lecturer, I conduct research on topics such as social change and innovation, environmental sustainability, cyber risk and resilience, and circular economy. My core interest in research and enterprise development is to explore and promote the use of technology and social innovation in business to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in these areas for economic development and growth.
