About Lizette Ortega Dolan
Dr. Lizette Ortega Dolan is a passionate and accomplished educator, leader, and justice advocate with nealry 30 years in K-12 education and non-profits. She currently supports organizations in strategic planning and leadership development. She most recently taught at Pine Hollow Middle School in MDUSD, where she taught 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts, Leadership, AVID, and Spanish. She also served as the AVID Site coordinator, and as the site Culturally Responsive Lead, provided PD at staff meetings. She also participated on the Leadership Team and revamped Student and Promotional Activities. She is also a Partner and Collaborator at E3 Collaborative LLC, the Privilege Institute, and The Field Semester. Dr. Dolan holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from St. Mary\'s College of California, a Master\'s degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor\'s degree from the University of California at Berkeley. She is the founder and leader of JUST Dragonfly, a platform that offers workshops, coaching, and resources to cultivate cultures of excellence, equity, collaborative voice, and human dignity. She has presented internationally, nationally, and locally on issues of equitable and efficient organizational systems, teacher excellence, recruitment and retention of historically de-prioritized populations, and cultivating inclusive environments. She is driven by her mission to empower people organizations to achieve their full potential and to create positive social change.
