ABOUT LISA WATKINS
I am a Systemic Social Work Practitioner and consultant. My practice is underpinned by systemic and psychoanalytic ideas while working with individuals, families and colleagues. I organise Reflective Practice for child protection social workers and support local authorities in Wales to integrate systemic practice ideas. Current work includes post inspection improvement consultancy, providing Restorative Supervision model training. I hold a professional doctorate from the Tavistock and Portman, London, in Advanced Social Work and Research. I\'m a registered as a social worker with Social Care Wales. My doctoral thesis examined American students narratives of the challenges and struggles experienced while studying in the UK
