Responsible to design, developing, and testing various types of high-speed motor/generators from 15 kW to 1 MW, speed from rpm to rpm-Research and analysis on high-speed magnet less machines, e.g. flux switching machine, switched reluctance, and synchronous reluctance machine-Advance study on field weakening, winding automation, skin and proximity loss, demagnetization study of the PM machine-Review technical reports and provide feedback on PDR, CDR, and FDR-Liaise with internal and external persons and deliver the best solution-Co-ordinate and improve test facilities, validation, designing, specifying, and operating test rigs-Electromagnetic and analytical analysis of other electromagnetic devices e.g. inductor, high-frequency transformer, and magnetic bearing-Define magnetic materials for use in products that meet the cost-Assist Engineering Systems Director in departmental performance and planning-Writing technical reports and helping the junior engineers to make skillful -Carry out other duties from time to time as the business requires.
