About Kumud Tripathi

As a researcher in the field of computer science and engineering, I am passionate about exploring the exciting possibilities that technology offers us today. My research interests include Automatic Speech Recognition, Speech Processing, Emotion Analysis, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and the Design and Analysis of Algorithms.I completed my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in December 2022. The title of my thesis was Speech Recognition in Multilingual and Multimode Environment, and my advisor was Prof. Krothapalli Sreenivasa Rao. My doctoral research focused on developing robust speech recognition systems that could classify multiple language speech in different modes, such as read, extempore, and conversation speech. I developed several innovative models for phoneme recognition and vowel detection, and my research has been published in several leading international journals and conference proceedings.Prior to my Ph.D, I completed my Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Robotics (Information Technology) from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad in June 2015. My thesis was on Continuous Indian Sign Language Gesture Recognition, and my advisor was Prof. G. C. Nandi. During my M.Tech, I worked on several interesting projects related to image recognition, including face recognition using Hidden Markov Model, classification on IRIS DataSet using Naïve Bayes Classifier, clustering using K-Means and Fuzzy C-Means on IRIS DataSet, optimization using Genetic Algorithm on IRIS DataSet, and implementation of Support Vector Machine algorithm in C and Matlab.I also completed my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the SR Group of Institution, Jhansi in June 2011. During my B.Tech, I worked on a project titled Fingerprint Recognition using Chain Coded String Matching used for Securing our System, under the guidance of Prof. Vishal Nagar.I have a strong record of academic achievements, including a CGPA of 9.59/10 in my M.Tech. and a percentage of 77.12% in my B.Tech. I also excelled in my higher secondary and secondary school examinations, achieving percentages of 79.00% and 77.00%, respectively.In summary, I am a highly motivated and talented researcher in the field of computer science, with a strong background in speech processing and machine learning. I am always looking for new and exciting opportunities to apply my skills and knowledge, and I am committed to advancing the frontiers of technology through my research.
