ABOUT KUMARA PRASAD PALANIVEL
A clinician by background, I sought to explore new ventures in creating value forpatients, healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders in the healthcare industryon a large scale.What followed was a Master\'s in Healthcare Management and a stint involvingcommercialization activities in the digital health space for a big pharma company.Wanting to forge my own destiny, I co-founded a digital health startup to develop thefirst virtual companion solution tailored for patient engagement, aiming to create apositive ripple effect in the realization of personalized and sustainable care pathways.Our rapid growth resulted in a merger and acquisition within three years of inception bya life sciences strategy consulting firm.Post-acquisition, I oversaw the digital health product division, curating andimplementing a multi-year business plan for the product roadmap, financial forecasts,and go-to-market strategy, while simultaneously integrating the business processesand teams from three different acquisitions.I consider myself a global citizen from a social standpoint, always eager to engage indialogue about healthcare and all other topics concerning arts, culture, science, andpolitics alike, searching for the perfect balance of being equal parts right- and left brained.
