ABOUT KRISTI CULPEPPER
I am a public school teacher for Clark County School District. It\'s a blessing to work with elementary children and help shape the future! My previous position was at the University of Southern California (USC) as an Associate Director of Marshall School of Business and Leventhal School of Accounting. I raised funds to support our students and the Trojan Family. I leveraged my expertise in fundraising, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and student affairs to engage with donors, alumni, and stakeholders. I also was a member of the Marshall Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach Team, where I recruited undergraduate students for Business, Accounting, The World Bachelor in Business (WBB), and the Business of Cinematic Arts degree programs. It was awesome to travel the world and represent USC!I am the immediate past President of the USC Staff Assembly, where I served as the Staff CEO for over USC employees. I collaborated with senior administrators, including three previous USC Presidents to support policies and programs that enhanced the employee experience and culture. I was the first ever Chair of the Staff Assembly Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. I earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from USC, a law degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and a certificate in DEI Human Resource Management from Cornell University. I am passionate about education, social justice, and community engagement. I have presented at national and regional conferences on topics such as the Marshall Pathways Program, a mentorship and scholarship program for historically underrepresented students and military veterans. I believe education is one of the greatest equalizers in our society.
