Serves as a national, regional, and international subject matter expert on matters pertaining to Community Engagement and Community-Led Monitoring in HIV/TB prevention, care and treatment for key populations and people living with HIV (PLHIV) and represents CDC at technical, policy, and strategic planning meetings, including meetings with PEPFAR interagency collaborators, donor multilateral agencies, Ministry of Health, and other external partners. Serves as a national, regional, and international community engagement subject matter expert in collaboration with CDC HQ Multi-Branch team, CDC South Africa interdisciplinary team, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, South Africa National AIDS Coalition (SANAC), and other Community Organizations who serve key population and PLHIV to create the South Africa National HIV Literacy Strategy and Monitoring and Evaluation Framework. Serves as a national, regional, and international community engagement subject matter expert in collaboration with CDC HQ Multi-Branch team, CDC Kenya interdisciplinary team, Ministry of Health, PEPFAR Interagency Partners (DOD, USAID), Kenya 47 County Casco’s (Health Officials), Community Organizations who serve key populations and other PLHIV to create the Kenya National U=U Communications Strategy and M&E Framework, and U=U National and County Charter Serves as CDC technical subject matter expert managing the development of regulatory project submissions, including organizes routine protocol and project determination check-in meetings, to include leading and managing technical reviews of country protocols and STARS project determinations for Community-led Monitoring for key populations, people living with HIV, and civil society. Collaborate on team meetings, various projects, and other tasks as assigned via MS Teams and Zoom.
