Dr Kavita Mathad is a Rank Student and a Gold Medalist at her bachelor\'s and Masters\'s degree. She is a Master of Arts in Economics with Econometrics as a specialization. She has done her PhD in the area of International Trade and Policy with a thesis Titled,” Economic reforms and International trade in India-An Evaluation” from Karnatak University Dharwad, Karnataka. Dr Kavita was a full-time research scholar receiving a University fellowship. She has been in academics for more than a decade working at Business Schools like Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME) Bangalore, Alliance Business Academy, Bangalore, IFIM Business School, Bangalore and Christ University, Bangalore. Dr Kavita Mathad to her credit has a number of research papers presented and published at both national and international levels. With her experience, Dr Kavita has organized various international conferences and Business Conclaves on topics related to International Business, Sustainable development and Business Management. She has conducted and has been invited as a resource person and key speaker at various Quality Improvement Programmes, Faculty Development Programme, Management Development Programme, conferences and webinars in diverse streams of Business Management. Her research areas of interest include Outward Foreign Direct Investment, International Trade and Policy, Digital Economy, Economics of Environment Management, SDGs, Health Care and Medical Tourism. She is actively involved in consultancy and funded research projects, the recent project completed was a Major Research Project on “Outward FDI and Domestic Investment in BRICS- A case of India” (Funded by Christ University, Bangalore). Dr Kavita believes in continuous learning and has done numerous certification courses to name that, she has done a Global Business certification programme from Harvard Business School online.
