ABOUT KAILASH BHOVI
I am a PharmD graduate currently working as a Patient Safety Associate I at Parexel, specializing in pharmacovigilance and drug safety.In my current role, I handle Individual Case Safety Report (ICSRs) end-to-end, including case intake, data entry, medical coding using MedDRA, and narrative writing. I also perform case assessment such as seriousness, expectedness, and causality, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and client SOPs.I am particularly interested in ensuring patient safety through accurate adverse event reporting and high-quality case processing. My experience in clinical settings during my PharmD has strengthened my ability to interpret medical data and contribute effectively to pharmacovigilance activities.Additionally, I have worked on clinical case reports including methotrexate-induced myelosuppression, toxic epidermal necrolysis, and drug-induced dermatological reactions, highlighting my strong clinical and analytical background.I am eager to grow in pharmacovigilance, with a long-term goal of advancing into roles involving signal detection, risk management, and medical review.
