ABOUT K. RAMKUMAR

I have around 25+ years of rich experience in Teaching in Engineering Colleges including IT Experience. Presently working as Professor, Department of CSE, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. Prior to that i was with Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, Chennai and also was as Associate Dean (Engineering & Technology) in SRM University, Sonepat, Haryana and Professor CSE in SRM Vadapalani Campus. Previously associated as Professor & HOD-IT in Kings Engineering College and Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department in Indira Institute of Engineering & Technology, Chennai. Additionally I have taken in charge as Chief Superintendent of MCA Department in conducting Madras University Exams. I was also associated with Logica CMG Pvt. Ltd, an IT Company as IT Consultant / Project Leader. Also I was working as Assistant Professor of MCA and Associate Placement Officer in SRM Easwari Engineering College. Prior to Joining Easwari Engineering College, I was associated with Satyam Computer Services Ltd as Associate Consultant and Lecturer in R.M.K / R.M.D Engineering College, Chennai. Completed Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering in the area of Cloud computing titled “Ensuring Data Security and Privacy in Cloud Computing”. I have published 19 Research Papers in Reputed International Journals including International Conferences. Also Completed Post Doctoral Fellow in Federal university of Ceara, Fortaleza, Brazil. Also Co Supervisor for Candidates in Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore.
