About Jyoti Sangle
Hi! I\'m Dr. Jyoti Sangle, a consultant psychiatrist practising for approximately 25 years in Mumbai. I currently serve as a visiting psychiatrist at Holy Spirit Hospital, Andheri (East) and Dr. LH Hiranandani Hospital, Powai.I am the Visiting Psychiatrist to the prestigious Indian Institute Of Technology, Mumbai (IIT Bombay) where i get to closely interact with the brightest minds of the country. The same with SP Jain Institute of Management and Research. I was recently recognised amomg the Topmost Mental Health Leaders 2025 at the World Mental Health Congress. A winner of the Major Jenning\'s Prize and the coveted National Bhagwat Award for the best research paper, I have publications in the national and international psychiatry journals. I have been a regular contributor to newspapers and magazines on various aspects of mental health. The unprecented pandemic gave me the unique opportunity to spread mental health awareness amongst corporates and general public through webinars, podcasts and social media. I have always been excited to support any program to help people in distress since my student days. I\'ve been being a part of a suicide helpline, been associated with support groups for bipolar disorder, and now have a plan brewing to start a support group for the care givers to mentally disturbed patients!
