I am part of a global team and supports technology companies in navigating a broad range of product, litigation and regulatory matters with a special focus on commercial and intellectual property law.My practice focuses in significant part on assisting global technology clients navigate constantly changing civil law and regulatory frameworks applicable to Internet platforms and associated products. Also, I have successfully litigated numerous complex cases throughout Germany for such clients, including in consumer and commercial contract matters. In connection with that work, I regularly provide product counseling on existing and contemplated global products, regulatory advice on consumer protection and media law matters, and guidance on data protection issues. My practice in this industry covers not only matters specific to Germany, but matters that require coordination, assessment, and advice accounting for related issues throughout EMEA and globally.Prior to joining White & Case and during my PhD studies in data protection, I worked as a research lawyer in a specialized intellectual property rights boutique.
