About Jignesh H. Kamdar

With a PhD from Saurashtra University, I have a strong foundation in research and academic teaching. My research focuses on enhancing oil quality in groundnut varieties, using marker-assisted selection and marker-assisted backcross breeding approaches. I have also contributed to the mapping of stem rot resistant genes in groundnut and their transfer to elite cultivars, funded by the Department of Biotechnology. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with students and colleagues, and I am always eager to learn new techniques and technologies.
