I am a Tata Memorial Cancer Centre-trained M.Ch surgical oncologist, specializing exclusively in breast oncology. To enhance my expertise, I completed short fellowships in Breast Oncology at Centre Oscar Lambert, Lille, France, and the University of Miami, USA, focusing on the latest methods in breast oncoplasty and lymphedema prevention techniques like Lymphovenous Anastomosis (S-LYMPHA). These procedures, aim to save the breast while maintaining its shape, size, and symmetry, without compromising the effectiveness of the treatment. S-LYMPHA is designed to prevent debilitating arm lymphedema, a common issue for breast cancer survivors. My expertise includes sentinel node biopsy, which limits the extent of node dissection in early breast cancers and helps avoid arm lymphedema. I am also proficient in Sono-Guided/wire localized breast surgeries for screen-detected and benign breast tumors.
