Starting my career as a chemistry laboratory assistant in the pharmaceutical industry, I\'m now a research scientist with long time experience in the lab and in production of APIs. While my university studies, I acquired a deep knowledge in the field of biochemistry, oncology and toxicology. I gained insightful and a thorough knowledge in molecular- and cell biology during my diploma thesis and dissertation. The specialization in the area of oncology and the characterization of genetic markers as basis for a therapeutic approaches in human cancer, conducted me for several years. My particular expertise is in gene expression studies and protein analysis. I am entirely familiar with cultivation and characterization of cells in vitro. Additionally, I have three years of experience in assay and product development.My particular expertise in natural science as well as my leadership skills, have prepared me to embrace the group leader position within the CoE Process & Plant Safety of Bayer. After four years as Head of Bayers Safety Lab, I started my current position in Product Supply in the Division Pharmaceuticals.I have a unique blend of skills and qualities.
