The predominant focus of this work was on 3D recording, spatial mapping, and web and database solutions. As a consequence of this, several large projects saw wholesale changes to system processes to provide better archiving and digital solutions.

ABOUT JAMES MILES MCIFA
I am the Cathedral and Church Buildings Data Manager for the Church of England and oversee their national planning system and the collection and management of buildings-based and Environment data for our national collection of buildings. I have a PhD in Archaeology from the University of Southampton. I am the owner and director of Archaeovision, a digital cultural heritage consultancy that focuses on digital technologies used within the heritage field, including 3D recording, 3D modelling, building surveying and a range of web technologies. We operate from offices in the UK and Estonia and provide our services worldwide.
