ABOUT DOCTORJAMES MICHEL

Throughout my educational career, I noticed an incremental focus on the maintenance of the human body the details of which I share specifically with each of my patients as it applies to their needs. Now after sharing individually with so many patients, I am seeking expansion and diversification through unique research and authoring a series of books relating to the human experience. From my early grade school interest in physical chemistry, when I built my own \"chemistry set\" with over 200 different chemicals, to my winning high school science project - a display of a majority of the pure elements from the periodic table, I fashioned my interest in the details of the physical universe. While attending undergraduate school at the prestigious Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, CA, began an educational focusing project by studying math, physics, engineering and organic chemistry. Going from there to the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado, where I worked as the only nurse in an organ transplant research laboratory that trained surgeons to do organ transplants on live subjects and also concentrated in a biochemistry graduate program on growing and nurturing many types of human cells in tissue culture. All this served as an extremely valuable foundation for medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After completing my medical education with an internship and residency program in Family Practice at the University of Colorado in Pueblo, Colorado, I began serving as the community physician in mountainous rural Westcliffe, Colorado, for three years before heading west to Hollywood, California. Objectives: Now after nearly 40 years as a physician, I find my books now are initially being released as a series of blogs to efficiently get information into public hands. My practice, Nutrition Attitude, I currently limit to Nutritional Consultation, will soon be offered in expanding fashions.
