ABOUT JAMES BIDDULPH MBE FCCT
I’m currently CEO of Avanti Schools Trust, leading a growing network of faith and community schools across the UK. My work is rooted in a deep belief in values-led education, where educational excellence, character formation, and spiritual insight go hand in hand.Previously, I served as Executive Headteacher at the University of Cambridge Primary School - the UK’s first University Training School for primary education and in inner-city school settings. I’ve had the privilege of opening new schools, nurturing diverse teams, and creating inclusive learning environments where children and adults flourish.With a PhD from the University of Cambridge and MBE for services to education, I bring together academic insight, practical leadership, and a commitment to education as a transformative force in society.
