About Jaimine V

With over 14 years of interdisciplinary experience spanning academia, research, policy, media, and social impact, I explore the intersections of geopolitics, global economy, entrepreneurship, management studies, liberal arts, and informal economies. My work focuses on translating complex theoretical insights into practical, real-world understanding—bridging formal systems with lived economic realities.I hold a Ph.D. in Social Sciences, with doctoral research on India–China border trade and informal economies that received formal acknowledgment from the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Commerce, and Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, for its policy relevance. I have authored over 35 peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed research papers, including publications in ABDC-listed journals, hold 1 patent, and have published 6 research-driven books with international circulation across Asia, Eastern Europe, and Africa.As a 2× TEDx speaker, on a national as well as global level, I have had the privilege of sharing perspectives on street entrepreneurship, informal economies, and alternative models of value creation—challenging conventional business-school paradigms while learning from grassroots innovators. My contributions to entrepreneurship education were recognized with the Emerging Talent Award (2023) and a Letter of Recognition (2024) from Babson College, USA.In my academic role, I design curricula and mentor students across undergraduate and postgraduate programs in entrepreneurship, sociology, psychology, journalism, management, and global political economy. Several of my entrepreneurship e-content modules are hosted on Vidya-Mitra, the Ministry of Education’s national academic repository.Beyond the classroom, I contribute regularly to media platforms on themes including international politics, economics, mental health, Buddhism, and human rights. I remain deeply committed to collaborative projects in research, policy design, and curriculum innovation—always seeking meaningful bridges between theory, practice, and the lived experiences of communities.I welcome conversations on interdisciplinary research collaborations, policy dialogues, curriculum development, or creative interventions that foster critical thinking and inclusive growth.
