ABOUT JAGANNATH MAHAPATRA
I am a plasma and dry-etch modeling expert with ~2 years of experience in reactor-scale CCP plasma modeling and feature-scale HAR etch simulations for semiconductor manufacturing, hybrid fluid-kinetic modeling, Monte Carlo methods, and plasma–surface interaction physics. I am well experienced in 3D NAND feature profile modeling, cryogenic etch processes, deposition processes, and ML-based predictive modeling developments. I have completed Ph.D. in plasma simulation using MHD modeling, with 6+ years of experience in code development, fluid/MHD simulation, Particle-In-Cell (PIC) simulation, Gyro-Kinetic simulation. During Ph.D, I have developed and benchmarked a number of CFD codes using finite-difference/finite-volume and pseudo-spectral technique with OpenMP/MPI/OpenACC parallelization to study different HD/MHD instabilities in astrophysical and laboratory plasma. Also used open source fluid solvers such as BOUT++, PLUTO, MPI-AMRVAC. I have a good experience in working with FORTRAN, C, C+, Python languages and visualization applications such as Paraview, VisiIt.
